Enhanced Student Experience with New Outdoor Dining Canopy at Royal Sutton School

 Royal Sutton School, part of the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership, required additional space to support busy break and lunchtime periods.

With indoor dining areas under pressure, the school looked for a practical solution that would increase capacity while improving the overall student experience.

 

Having previously worked with Kensington Systems, the trust returned for a second canopy installation, confident in the quality and reliability delivered.  

Kensington Systems installed a Spaceshade dining canopy alongside the school’s catering pod, creating a dedicated covered outdoor dining area.

This immediately expanded usable space, allowing students to eat and socialise comfortably outdoors while reducing congestion inside.

The canopy also helps staff manage peak times more effectively by improving the flow of students across the site.  

The new space has enhanced the daily experience for students, providing a sheltered, all-weather environment where they can meet, relax, and dine.

By freeing up indoor areas and extending the school’s catering facilities outdoors, Royal Sutton School has created a more flexible and manageable lunchtime setup.
