Kensington Systems high-quality canopies empower organisations with attractive, flexible outdoor environments that deliver long-term value.

Our story
Kensington Systems started in the late 1970s, manufacturing blinds for local domestic and commercial customers in Bristol.
Over the years we’ve established a reputation for quality and innovation, developing the first side tracker channels for roller blinds and the first magnetic detachable crank handles. In 2002 we achieved ISO 9001 quality management accreditation and have maintained it ever since.
In 2012, Kensington Systems began to diversify into external products, and in 2014, introduced the Spaceshade® canopy system, the first in the UK to have a non-fragile roof and fully built-in gutters and concealed downpipes.
Since then we’ve installed hundreds of canopies in schools, businesses and healthcare sites, and become widely known for high-quality products and exceptional service.
In 2023, we introduced solar panel canopies and solar carparks to our range. Designed to optimise and enhance outdoor space while generating clean energy, our solar range helps our clients achieve their Net Zero goals.
From January 2024, we will be accredited by independent sustainability consultants Planet Mark, demonstrating our commitment to achieving our own Net Zero goals.

As the head of our operations department, Harriette manages our supply chain and installation teams, ensuring your project is delivered on time and to budget.

Charmaine Pullen
As finance and compliance manager, Charmaine will work with you on payment schedules. She also ensures we are up-to-date and compliant with the necessary regulations and accreditations.
Research & Development
Clifford Huntley
As the head of R&D, Clifford spends much of his time on new product innovations and development, working on the next new product or feature to meet our clients' needs.

Nigel Leahy
Our marketing director, Nigel is responsible for overall marketing strategy and direction.
Estimating
Jed Hewison
Jed is our estimator and in-house visualiser, creating detailed proposals and stunning visualisations for our clients.

Brian Farr
Brian runs our Rolshade blinds division, helping our clients with their shading needs. With decades of experience, he can help you with all aspects of your project.
Marketing
Cassia Huntley
Cassia is responsible for much of the marketing day-to-day, including social media management, content creation, website maintenance and organising events.

Craig Huntley
As sales manager Craig supports our sales team to ensure our client's needs are being met. He also enjoys meeting our clients and working with them to find canopy solutions for their unique requirements.

Garth Huntley
Garth is responsible for the design and technical aspects of our project delivery, ensuring that everything is correct and your project is delivered snag-free.
