Enclosed Solar PV Canopy at Three Peaks Academy
The new Spaceshade® canopy at Three Peaks Academy features 50 solar panels, which will produce an estimated 8,300 kWh a year.
This translates to estimated carbon savings of 1,600 kgCO2e/pa and cost savings of up to £2,800 per year for the trust.
Not only that, but with side walls fitted it provides a flexible, comfortable covered outdoor space the school can use for a variety of activities.
Built-in or Standard Solar Panels Available
Choose between built-in or standard solar panels for your solar canopy.
Built-in solar panels are incorporated into the glass roof, allowing light to come through.
Standard solar panels are fitted on top of our existing canopy roof system, so are ideal for retrofitting (although they don't allow as much light through).
