Vibrant Shade Sails & Bespoke Walkway: Enhancing The Deaf Academy, Exmouth

Posted by Admin

In the realm of education, the Deaf Academy in Exmouth stands as a beacon of excellence, catering specifically for deaf students since 1826. Collaborating with the main contractor, Kensington Systems worked to create high-quality, long-lasting shelters and covered spaces for the school.

Within the walls of the new flagship building, a cutting-edge educational environment boasts spacious, modern classrooms with therapeutic capabilities. Extending this exceptional quality outdoors, we installed a number of covered space solutions, including a walkway canopy, colourful shade sails, entrance canopies and a bespoke cycle shelter.

A standout feature is the bespoke steel walkway canopy, seamlessly connecting the buildings regardless of the weather. Its unique design flawlessly blends with the structures, enhancing the overall aesthetic.

Adding a pop of colour and a playful ambiance, vibrant shade sails structures feature in the primary playground, matching the bright colours of the rubber crumb. A timber cycle shelter caters to the storage needs of both staff and students. Featuring mesh sliding doors which can be padlocked, the shelter offers both security and weather protection for users' bikes.
