We’ve started phoning our clients to ask one simple, overriding four word question: ‘is everyone there OK?’.
Why? Because we have decades of experience in construction, supply chain and – most of all – the highs and lows of business to share. Most of all we’ve offered a listening ear, reassurance around how we can help and reinforced our determination to stand together with our clients as we all bounce back from this disruption.
We’re proud to have built up clients and friends across a range of sectors so, at the current time, it genuinely is good to talk.
What have clients been asking us?
-Help to find the positives: With 40 years as a family business, we’ve lived and breathed the rollercoaster of the construction industry. We’ve been reassuring clients that every trough has a peak and that we’ll remain open for business and on hand come what may.
-Supply chain and supply chain reassurance: Although our own supply chain is thankfully secured, we hear a lot of questions about wider supply chain issues in the sector. We’re happy to help. We’ve also listened to clients telling us about the items – including PPE – they’ve found hard to secure and added everything we’ve been able to source online here.
-How to work with suppliers: We believe suppliers want to help. We’ve been holding orders and walking clients through their projects to help step by step with the work that can be done now. We’re glad to share what we’ve been doing to help clients ask for help elsewhere too.
We’ve also been offering safe distance site visits, offering broad support with any sector and business knowledge we can pass on, and can offer video calling to give practical help with the above issues and much more.
There is – of course – no charge, no obligation and no sales talk.
Because we’re all part of the same sector, we’re all facing these challenges together and we’ll celebrate the inevitable upturn together too.
If you’re in the construction industry: lean on us. Right now we’re aren’t suppliers…we’re friends, mentors and partners in a journey that’ll be behind us before we know it.
Let’s keep talking. Tell us how we can help
