Great Bedwyn School in Marlborough faced a challenge with its small playground area, which was bordered by a high retaining wall. The space was underutilized, and the school wanted to maximize its potential to provide a more functional and engaging outdoor environment for students. To achieve this, they opted to install a Spaceshade canopy with a vibrant, coloured roof to cover the entire area.
The new canopy provides essential weather protection, ensuring that the outdoor space can be used throughout the year, regardless of rain or strong sun. The school selected yellow and orange roof panels, creating a bright and cheerful focal point that enhances the playground’s appeal. Now, students can enjoy a versatile, sheltered area for play, learning, and social interaction in all seasons, making the most of their available outdoor space.
